Entwined lily stems and tendrils are arrange along a strong diagonal, designed by J.H. Dearles in 1899. One of the greatest legacies of Morris & Co. this wallpaper is printed in airy colourways, along with two deeper colourways - both styles creating drama in their own way.

Honeysuckle designed by May Morris in 1883 is a realistic arrangement of rambling flowers and entwining leaves. Although best known for her work with embroidery Morris youngest daughter May also designed several wallpapers.

Inspired by an archive pattern book with Batchelor’s Button on the cover, we’re proud to say this design was the catalyst for Ben Pentreath’s Morris & Co. x Queen Square collection. Translated on to wallpaper for the first time, Bird is a serene pattern of paired birds alternating between perching and flight. Available in four rich colour stories, bursts of saturated hues make Bird an incredibly striking addition to any wall. Inspired by an 1878 tapestry creation by William Morris, it was the design of choice to adorn his own drawing room in Kelmscott House.

Originally a monochrome precursor to Morris’s much-loved Strawberry Thief (1883) were thrilled that Ben chose this design from our archive transforming it into a vibrant strong Olive/Turquoise colourway. An evocation of the English hedgerow dating from 1882 this wallpaper features thrushes in a vertical entwine of flowers and foliage.

This delightful wallpaper design shows birds swooping, perching and pecking amidst branches of foliage and pomegranate fruit. Dating from 1926, it was one of the last block printed wallpapers designed by Morris and Co. and inspired by the much earlier Fruit wallpaper. Available in irresistible colourways, including one on a stunning metallic background.

Blackthorn designed for wallpaper by J.H. Dearle in 1892 was first adapted for machine printed fabric in 1975 by Sanderson and became hugely popular. Todays versions are reproduced in authentic colours matching the original wallpaper samples and the mottled appearance gives the wallpaper a hand printed look.

Morris & Co. are thrilled to reintroduce Borage, an 1883 design by William Morris. Translated for the first time on to wallpaper, Borage is a spirited floral pattern with multiple symmetrical axes, lending the eye many pleasing resting points. Beloved by bees and other pollinators, Borage is a perfect example of William Morris drawing ideas about ornamenting interiors from the natural world.

Borage re-enters the Morris & Co. range due to the collaboration collection with Emery Walker’s House, the historic home of noted typographer and close friend of William Morris, Sir Emery Walker.

Rising to the surface of this densely packed design is a forest floor full of floral delight. Influenced by the composition of medieval woodcuts, William Morris designed Bower in 1877 as a vibrant tribute to the forest walks and flowers he so adored. Bough’s Green/Rose is the closest colour story to Morris’s original, whilst Indigo and Herball offer cooler variations.

Bower returns to the Morris & Co. collection for the first time in many years in the Emery Walker’s House collection, echoing the beautiful garden lovingly maintained by Dorothy Walker.

A stylised pattern of blackberry briars with berries and white flowers cover this wallpaper designed in 1879 by Kate Faulkner - a talented sister of one of the partners of Morris & Co. Available as a fabric of the same name, this design is produced in dramatic colourways.

Taken from our archive this design was originally a ceiling paper by Arts and Crafts designer Andrew Brophy (1844-1912). We’ve recreated the structure of the trellis and added flowers and leaves from one of May Morris’s original designs to create Brophy Trellis an incredibly usable design which pairs beautifully with other Morris & Co. fabrics and wallpapers. This wallpaper was inspired by a carpet hand-woven at Merton Abbey and exhibited by Morris & Co. at the 1893 Arts and Crafts Society exhibition. The original design probably came from the enormous Persian original hung by Morris in his dining room at Kelmscott House and is now produced in versatile, restful colourways and a fabric of the same name.Priced by the metre in increments of 1.06

This wonderfully ornate Morris wallpaper design from 1877 was originally printed using wood blocks to imitate Japanese Leather papers, which was a technique perfected by Jeffrey and Co. in the 1880s. Todays version faithfully reproduces some of the earliest colourways whilst introducing a new softer palette with subtle metallic highlights.

Chrysanthemum Toile has been inspired by the metal outline of the embossed and gilded Chrysanthemum wallpaper produced by Jeffrey & Co. in the 1880s.  This beautiful wallpaper has been highlighted in metallic inks using the surflex printing method.

Just like a rekindled love affair, Ben discovered this iconic print stowed away in our archive. Instantly mesmerised, he recoloured and updated Compton to include cheerful daffodil yellows and vibrant pops of indigo blue, poppy red and sunset orange.

Daisy was the first wallpaper to be produced by Morris & Co. and was inspired by medieval illustrations. Morris created this design after embroidering daisy motifs on wallhangings for the Red House. This version retains the naively drawn daisies and ranunculuses of the wallpaper but has been simplified by the removal of background tufts of grass and is available in the original colourways.

Morris & Co. are thrilled to reintroduce Elmcote, a magnificently brooding 1900 design from designer, J.H. Dearle. Dearle’s training as William Morris’s tapestry apprentice is beautifully demonstrated here in Elmcote. With gallant seedheads and miniature flowers, the design is connected by swirling foliage arranged in a classically Dearle style.

A new addition to the Morris & Co. wallpaper range, Emery’s Willow features unmistakable bubble-like shapes as a backdrop, introducing an element of play to this 1874 design. The willow tree, with its delicately entwining branches and curling leaves, is a motif William Morris returned to throughout his creative life.

Emery’s Willow is inspired by a wallpaper design hung in the drawing room of esteemed typographer, book printer and friend of William Morris, Sir Emery Walker. It re-enters the Morris & Co. range as a result of the collaboration collection between Morris & Co. and Emery Walker’s House.

An iconic design from 1864, Fruit is one of Morris’s earliest wallpapers. Depicting flowing branches laden with ripe pomegranates, lemons and blossom flowers, this recoloured interpretation shows this much loved designs in a new light. The Sky colourway works wonderfully in kitchens and dining rooms and the rich chocolate option is Ben’s take on a neutral.

Marigold is one of Ben’s favourite designs, loved for its simplicity and skilful repeat. Originally produced in 1875, the design is hugely versatile, working with ease in any part of the home. One of the few patterns Morris produced for both fabric and wallpaper, its simple use of colour creates an understated tranquillity.

Inspired by embroidered bed hangings originally created by May Morris for her father’s bed c.1893 this newly drawn wallpaper version showcases May’s spectacular design of birds and flowerheads trailing a central fruit tree. Produced as a 3m panel (or 4m on special order) Melsetter from Morris & Co. is a hand painted fresco style design with a garden room feel. Available in two colourways: Indigo/Rose and Ivory/Sage

Owen Jones was a Victorian architect designer and renowned commentator on decorative ornament. His book The Grammar of Ornament published in 1856 was a stunningly illustrated catalogue encompassing every decorative style and influence from around the world. Owen Jones wallpaper depicting a simple fleur de lys a quintessential Jones motif first appeared in the Morris & Co. Volume III collection. This universally recognised geometric trellis design is available in both rich and neutral colourways and provides a wonderful backdrop to the Morris prints and weaves.

This design is printed in 3 sections on 1 roll that can then be cut & joined, together to make a full scene. Each roll comprising of 3 x 300cm panels (A,B,C) with spacing between each panel for cutting/trimming. The 3 panels make a total scene width of 205.5cm when hung.
