Lily Leaf is a small scale all-over leaf fabric print which has been taken from the background of the wallpaper Lily designed by Morris in 1874. Charming and extremely usable this light weight cotton print comes in nine colours and is also available in a wallpaper.

Curvaceous flowers and leaves trail upwards on this fabric design and are placed on a bed of smaller entwined flora and fauna. Originally produced at Merton Abbey using the indigo discharge method, this design on a cotton-linen blend fabric in rich colourways for upholstery and curtains.

A printed fabric interpretation of the lavishly embroidered bed curtains from Morriss home, Kelmscott Manor. The trellis background on the original fabric has been removed and the design repainted creating a wonderful arrangement of trees birds and flowers. First produced in 1868-70 as a wallpaper Indian was based on the indienne prints of the 18th century. Originally drawn by George Gilbert Scott and adapted by Morris Indian now comes in three dramatic colourways on printed linen union and is also available in wallpaper.

Honeysuckle was designed by William Morriss daughter, May, in 1883 and is a realistic arrangement of rambling flowers and entwining leaves. Screen printed on a cotton/linen blend and reproduced for the Queen Square collection in two new colourways, Summer shares a naturalistic, archive inspired look compared with Chocolates autumnal creams and pops of vibrant orange.

The sweet scent of honeysuckle must be one of nature's greatest ‘simple' pleasures. Immortalised by May Morris, William Morris's daughter, in this 1883 design, Honeysuckle is a flowing, complex pattern that mimics the plant's tendency to climb and bind.

First produced in 1876 Honeysuckle & Tulip is an early Morris fabric design depicting entwined foliage and flower motifs in a mirrored pattern repeat. The effect is of a trellis circling large multi petalled tulips and stylised honeysuckle.

Based on an elaborately woven silk velvet brocade designed and produced by Morris in 1884 Granada incorporates pomegranate motifs and ornate trellis reminiscent of the mediaeval textiles which inspired the design. Today Granada is printed on a heavy textured linen to give an antiqued effect. Granada wallpaper available in the Wallpaper Compendium II has been inspired by the fabric and incorporates a trellis design.

Inspired by the framing border of a Morris & Co. carpet woven at Merton Abbey in 1883, the Holland Park Stripe is the joint-first stripe design to feature in a Morris & Co. collection. Perfect as a coordinating fabric or as a simple centrepiece, the Holland Park Stripe introduces a new essential option to any craftsperson's toolkit.

Beguiling, jewel-like colours bring to life a startling array of meadow flowers set against a deep midnight indigo. A design of incredible detail and beauty, Flowers By May originally adorned the seat of a 17th century chair which once stood in the library of William Morris. Residing since his death in the home of his friend, neighbour and noted typographer, Sir Emery Walker, May Morris created the covered cushion with the dedication “MM to EW”. Flowers By May is a story about the creativity friendship can inspire, spanning even generations.

Dorothy's Kilim draws from the original found in the bedroom of Dorothy Walker, the well-travelled daughter of Sir Emery (noted typographer and close friend of William Morris's). This colourful kilim is decorated in the Persian style and features geometric motifs typical of kilims from the old Persian Empire — Turkey and Turkic states.

A new addition to the modern Morris & Co. fabric portfolio, Emery's Willow characteristically features playful bubble-like shapes as a backdrop. The willow tree, with its delicately entwining branches and leaves that rustle evocatively in the slightest breeze, is a motif William Morris consistently returned to throughout his creative life.

Emery's Willow is based on a wallpaper design first produced in 1874 which was hung in the dining room of esteemed typographer, book printer and friend of William Morris, Sir Emery Walker.

Bursts of vivid multicolour please the eye at every turn in this newly embroidered fabric version of Morris & Co.'s earliest wallpaper (1864), Daisy. Hand-knotted finishes to the floral detailing couple with chunky stitching help to convey a crafted, tactile feel on a 100% linen base cloth. What makes Daisy so iconic are the sprays of floral miniatures inspired by William Morris's visits to the British Museum's illuminated manuscripts, creating a design which looks back on centuries of craftwork.

Today's Daisy Embroidery takes as its source the Daisy wallpaper featured in the Arts & Crafts home of noted typographer, book printer and friend of Morris, Sir Emery Walker.

Ben Pentreath has taken the distinctive daffodils that grace this design and pumped up the colour! Created by John Henry Dearle c.1891, the original drawing survives and can be seen at the William Morris Gallery in London. Scaled down slightly and produced on a cotton/linen cloth, the Dark Olive colourway is utterly magical with its bright, almost electric blue ground and eye-catching teal detail. Archive is a much softer choice, retaining its original colours, but with a slightly intensified vibrancy.

One of the most formal patterns from Morris, designed in 1876. Originally woven on a power loom in wool and mohair and now reproduced as a wool-blend cloth with beautiful drape quality for curtains and a durable upholstery choice.

Just like a rekindled love affair, Ben discovered this iconic print stowed away in our archive. Instantly mesmerised, he recoloured and updated Compton to include cheerful daffodil yellows and vibrant pops of indigo blue, poppy red and sunset orange.

Chrysanthemum was originally designed as a wallpaper by William Morris in 1877 with winding blooms against a foliage background. In this toile interpretation, elegant linework enhances the detail and form of the original pattern, recoloured here to sit alongside the Simply Morris collection.

Taken from our archive this design was originally a ceiling paper by Arts and Crafts designer Andrew Brophy (1844-1912). We've recreated the structure of the trellis and added flowers and leaves from one of May Morris's authentic designs to create Brophy Trellis an incredibly usable embroidery which pairs beautifully with other Morris & Co. fabrics and wallpapers. This linen-blend upholstery fabric was inspired by a carpet hand-woven at Merton Abbey and exhibited by Morris & Co. at the 1893 Arts and Crafts Society exhibition. The original design probably came from the enormous Persian original hung by Morris in his dining room at Kelmscott House and is now produced in versatile, restful colourways and a wallpaper of the same name.

A tweedy, semi-plain woven upholstery fabric with mixed colour flecks running through, produced in a rich palette of earthy colourways. Hardwearing, it is suitable for severe contract usage as well as curtains, blinds and cushions and the perfect complement to patterned designs across the Morris collections.

Taken from the wallpaper design of 1871, this woven fabric is produced in cut and loop pile velvet to create a contemporary weave which provides the perfect complement to more decorative furnishings and wallpapers, or as a standalone fabric in its own right. Brer Rabbit is taken from a 17th century Italian silk and Morris first registered the design in 1882. Named after the Uncle Remus childrens books popular at the time this fabric design was originally indigo discharge printed. Today the Morris studio have tried to replicate the mottled appearance of this earlier method using modern printing processes. Available in wallpaper in co-ordinating colours.

Morris & Co. are thrilled to re-introduce Borage, an 1883 design by William Morris. Originally conceived as a furnishing fabric, Borage's spirited floral pattern and multiple axes of symmetry bring a lively point of visual interest to any furniture item. Beloved by bees and other pollinators, Borage is a perfect example of William Morris drawing ideas about ornamenting interiors from the natural world.

Borage re-enters the Morris & Co. range due to the collaboration collection with Emery Walker's House, the historic home of noted typographer and close friend of William Morris. Walker, dutiful to the design ideas of his friend William Morris, has used Borage as a furnishing fabric in his drawing room to great effect.

A stylised pattern of blackberry briars with berries and white flowers cover this upholstery fabric, designed in 1879 by Kate Faulkner - a talented sister of one of the partners of Morris & Co. Available as both a fabric and wide width wallpaper, this fabric design is produced in dramatic colourways.

The definition of a bower, a pleasant, shady place under trees or climbing plants in a garden or forest, aptly describes this upliftingly rich design. Registered as a William Morris pattern in 1877, Bower depicts a floral wonderland of foliage and flowers ripe with life. The Bough's Green/Rose colourway is the closest to the joyous original, whilst Indigo and Barbed Berry/Indigo offer moodier and cooler hues respectively with Herball/Weld being a happy mid-tone.
